About the conference
The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Antimonopoly Policy: Science, Practice, Education” is a key discussion platform for the Russian antimonopoly community on the current issues of competition policy development and improvement of antimonopoly regulation both domestically and in global markets.

The conference brings together regulators, experts and practitioners from Russia, BRICS and partner countries. Participants include heads and staff of antitrust agencies, lawyers and researchers from BRICS countries and Europe. Until 2023, the conference was held at the Skolkovo Innovation Center; this year it will be held for the first time at the Higher School of Economics, in the historic building of the Durasov House.
In 2024, the FAS of Russia celebrates its twentieth anniversary, the same year being the year of Russia's chairmanship in the CIS and BRICS. The opening plenary session will be devoted to the results of Russia's chairmanship in the antimonopoly track and discussion of the current challenges that antimonopoly authorities are facing today amid the economic transformation and the increasing influence of technology and innovation. The topic of the second plenary session will be the development of commodity and raw materials exchange trading in Russia and coordination on the creation of the BRICS Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange. The conference will also include a meeting of the BRICS Working Group on Cartels, where the strengthening of inter-agency cooperation to detect and combat cartels will be discussed. In addition, the conference agenda includes a discussion of the problems of pricing in food markets and the role of competition authorities in this regard, as well as the current challenges of antimonopoly regulation in financial markets.
